In case your flight schedule to Athens does not allow time for the Milos flight, we suggest the following:

 1.Stop over: (A) Hotels are at the airport (Sofitel and Holiday Inn), or at Markopoulo and Vravona.
(B) choose one hotel near Sintagma Square, well served by bus/metro (digit the following in search engines: "hotel+sintagma+athens"). 
 2.Take a boat: Schedule your flight to Athens so as to have at least 3 hours for the coincidence with the ship. Use the bus from Venizelos Airport to Piraeus (1-1,5 hours) or taxi. Check the Piraeus-Milos schedule on our ferries page.

FLIGHTS TO MILOS: Thanks to the intervention of the Municipality of Milos, of Mr Tsainis, Mayor, and of Mr. Gaitanis, Vice Mayor, from February 1, Milos will have two flights a day and 3 flights a day on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. This schedule will last until March 31st, pending the reassignment of the flying route to Milos to OlimpicAir, from April 1, 2010. For this reason, at the moment, booking from April on cannot be made. We have good reasons to believe that the new schedule will be kept for the future, too, and hope the afternoon flights to Milos will be schedules after 17:00, so as to allow connections from abroad.
