Our Restaurant.
It is said that the best way to love is through stomach. Rightly so, in
order to highlight the beneficial effect of a good meal.
In a world that forces people to rush, to stress and to eat in «packed»
tavernas, we offer a cozy and peaceful restaurant where you can enjoy
unforgettable dishes.
«To Spitiko» in Greek means” home made”, as we combine the passion of
Iro (the landlady) for Greek traditional cooking, inasmuch as she
prepares home made dishes and starters (mezedes) of carefully selected
ingredients, with a warm, friendly location surrounded by a lovely
garden where you can relish your meal.
Our meals.
Some of our delicacies are:
 Aubergine
Saganaki (local eggplant combined with fresh tomato sauce
and feta cheese).
- Fish-balls (cod fish in a special mix of herbs)
- Iro’s Courgettes (the marriage of courgette and mince in
a delicious white sauce)
- Spitiko Mousaka ( the original mousaka with eggplants)
- Lamb «Spitiko» (mouth watering lamb slowly cooked in
ceramic pot.
-
For additional pleasure:
In addition to local white and red wines, a good range of wines are also
available, including
Chateau Lazaridis, red (combining varieties Cabernet
Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Limnio)
Gerovasiliou, white (combining varieties of Malagouzia
and Asyrtiko )
Strofilia, white (combining Greek varieties giving a
refreshing acidity and herbal finish)
Meltemi, white (combining Asyrtiko and Monemvasia from
Paros)
Ending well!
We like our guests to close their meals with some sweet or with Greek “Tsipouro”,
or “spitiko” liqueur.
Our prices are for every pocket, in line with similar quality standards,
as a meal can cost from 10-25 Euro per person
We are situated 200 metres from the centre of Adamas, away from the
traffic and the crowd, at a place where tranquility and calmness will
overwhelm you.
For bookings you can phone at +30 22870 22160
We are open from May to October
We look forward to meet you
