FERRIES

NEWS: this summer do consider the possibility to reach Milos via Santorini. From June 20th there will be the fast ship "SUPER JET", with a daily trip, as follows:

Santorini 16:30  > Folegandros 17:30     > Milos 18:50
Milos 10:20       > Folegandros 11:40     > Santorini 12:50

Schedule from June 12 to June 26, 2009

We do our best to follow the various timetables, and the summer schedule is inserted as soon as known. Otherwise, check online, but be aware of the fact that if on the selected date it says that there are no ships, it isn't really so for sure: simply,  the schedule is not fixed so as to allow booking on line! Wait some time and recheck!

Webmaster note: In terms of customer service, prices and competition, organization, the situation of internal ferry transportation in Greece in well described here: http://www.oecd.org/dataoecd/3/13/2497439.pdf -section 2. REGULATORY REFORM IN DOMESTIC FERRIES - It is at least obscure to us to understand why there aren't steady and timely timetables in a country that lives on tourism.
